The Wooly Homestead is Now Open for Business

Thursday-Saturday, 1-4pm

WELCOME We are excited to announce that our farm store – sweetly named "The Wooley Homestead” – is officially open! Over these past three years, we’ve built up inventory and honed our craft. Now everything is on display and for sale inside the farm’s original, refurbished homestead (c. 1880’s). Come take a peak inside this beautiful log cabin and connect to the history of this island farm and all it has to offer.

OUR PRODUCTS. We have made an effort to live deeply into this place, understand what products we can authentically grow here, and share the story as we offer them to you. We now have yarn, rugs, botanical dye kits, tallow candles and more.  Our products are sourced directly from our farm -- from our own flocks of Clun Forest sheep and Pygora goats, and from our perennial beds and gardens. Many of our products can be traced back to individual sheep and goats who have names and stories of their own to tell; and all products are lovingly prepared by hand to honor the time it takes to grow plants and fiber over the course of a year and then turn it into something new.

MANDY TROXEL'S FIBER STUDIO. Speaking of stories to tell, we are so fortunate to host Mandy Troxel, who has carved out a creative corner in the Wooly Homestead for her own fiber studio. There are many stunning, one-of-a-kind creations on display and for sale. Please stop by and visit with Mandy and hear the inspiration behind her intricate fiber "paintings." She also has cards, fiber kits, and other small wonders available for you to explore.

LAMB CUTS. Last but not least, for those of you who have been purchasing our lamb from the San Juan Food Hub, we now have on-site sales available.  Should you be in the area during store hours, feel free to come in and pick up your preferred cuts. We have sirloin chops, roasts, kebabs, and steaks.

Store hours are Thursday-Saturday, 1-4pm.

The lambs are growing, the flowers are blooming, and times are busy on the farm. We would love to see you visit and hear what you think!
